Open-source CLI and web app
Find out why your React Native app is big, and how to shrink it. Drop in an Android .aab or .apk and get a ranked list of fixes with the MB each one saves, or compare two builds to see what grew.

Screens

01
React Native Android builds get big quietly. The AAB file size doesn't tell you what users download, and the usual causes (R8 off, every icon font bundled, PNGs that should be WebP, native libraries for every CPU) are spread across many files.
02
Each cause lives in a different place: Gradle settings, the Hermes bundle, Metro image assets, native libraries. And the JS bundle is one opaque file, so you can't see which npm package made it big.

04
Published on npm with a web version anyone can use without installing, and 1,000+ downloads in the first two weeks. On one real production app it found fixes worth about a quarter of the download size.
Along the way
01
compare old.aab new.aab shows which files, npm packages and problems changed. Each side can be a saved report, so CI can check every build against the last release. 106 tests.
02
Splits the Hermes bundle by npm package in real bytecode bytes, finds packages bundled in two versions, and finds exactly which fonts the app never uses.
03
Posts one sticky comment with the size change on every pull request, keeps the main branch's last build as the baseline, and fails the build when the download grows past a limit.
04
Finds images that are bundled but never used, recovers the real names of files R8 renamed (919 on a real game APK), and adds iOS .ipa reports in beta.
